"Fantasies" set a new benchmark in media outreach of the Canadian Metric. Now the band Emily Haines has relocated the battery to give us a renewed listening experience that will come masked under the name "Synthetica" we can enjoy exquisite LP from 12 June this year.
Apparently "Synthetica" will focus primarily on the concept of reflection and dual. In the words written by Emily on its website in February last on the album is "the original located in front of reproduced copies, to force yourself to confront you catch the reflection in a mirror." Within a few hours ago that have been uploaded several videos to this website which brings together the concept in sound bases very dense, distorted and monuments that span the intrinsic formula "pop" of the formation of Toronto.
May 1 is the day we will discover in a single scoop - 'Youth Without Youth' - that will reveal the scope of this fantastic new sound project Metric. To get you started the creators of hits such as 'Stadium Love' or 'Help I'm Alive' have begun to make noise with a haunting, sinuous version of 'Strange Weather' by Tom Waits:
