We confess to being addicted "White Crosses" by Against Me! and the best punk rock albums that have emerged in recent years. One of the last to which we are engaged is "No Gods," an LP of some British enganchadizo - Sharks - which surprisingly come in the room Rocksound concert in Barcelona on June 9. The magazine has been Rockzone who moved the thread to give us, as of one, one of the best bowling side we might expect from early summer.
'Arcane Effigies', 'Able Moving Hearts', 'Patient Spider' ... The eleven subjects who make the hard fall short of that great "hype" that began to generate the middle of last year. This quote in Barcelona will help us to find out about, and a room suitable for this type of action, one of the revelations of the season.

Unearthing "Stinking Of You", unreleased Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love
In the past SXSW 2012 in Austin (Texas) were projected several renowned music documentaries. One of them was "It's So Hard" film directed by P. David Ebersole who explained the Seattle scene of the late 80's / early 90's from the interesting story of Patty Schemel, Hole old battery. Drugs, rock n 'roll and much, much grunge converge in a film that will be remembered by many for providing the only existing audio until "Stinking Of You", unreleased played by Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love.
The scene lasts a minute and shows, two screens, both a fixed plane with Kurt and Courtney playing guitar singing as a sequence of homey images of the couple playing with Francis Bean. The issue is not no big deal (so we're going to cheat) but the witnessing of such documents makes us feel a certain melancholy. Kurt: We miss you very much.

Delusional memories in Germany
Essay idea: "Remember Auschwitz"
Henryk M. Broder published this month essay "Vegesst Auschwitz! The German memory madness and the final solution to the Israel question. "
Investing in the memory of the Holocaust, the Germans for many years a fortune. Israel and its Middle East policy at global level, however, shows that such a memorial rituals are often nothing more than empty gestures. They are much more used as a distraction from the present. Henryk M. Broder insists on a new culture of memory and insists on this topic to address in public.

Metric: Details of "Synthetica" and version of 'Strange Weather' by Tom Waits
"Fantasies" set a new benchmark in media outreach of the Canadian Metric. Now the band Emily Haines has relocated the battery to give us a renewed listening experience that will come masked under the name "Synthetica" we can enjoy exquisite LP from 12 June this year.
Apparently "Synthetica" will focus primarily on the concept of reflection and dual. In the words written by Emily on its website in February last on the album is "the original located in front of reproduced copies, to force yourself to confront you catch the reflection in a mirror." Within a few hours ago that have been uploaded several videos to this website which brings together the concept in sound bases very dense, distorted and monuments that span the intrinsic formula "pop" of the formation of Toronto.
May 1 is the day we will discover in a single scoop - 'Youth Without Youth' - that will reveal the scope of this fantastic new sound project Metric. To get you started the creators of hits such as 'Stadium Love' or 'Help I'm Alive' have begun to make noise with a haunting, sinuous version of 'Strange Weather' by Tom Waits:

Enter Address "Chew" chew electrical coils Yuck
Coachella, probably the most mammoth festival of this 2012, is here. It is in this same weekend when all fans of good music will be aware to see a chunk of the performances of bands such illustrious names as Bon Iver, The Black Keys, Bon Iver and The Shins. Apart from the titans of the indie world (which by the way: more than five or six names) will also perform monitoring the performance of some Yuck have released a theme - 'Chew' - does matter of a few hours.
Through this hoot between dense and aesthetically metallically pop, Londoners are back to surprise us with a piece that regains the ability to electrify your spirit that you find in the self-titled debut album in 2011. Now we just need to see if 'Chew' sounds as good live as on the studio version. Hopefully in Coachella respond (positively) to this good incognita.

Alabama Shakes: the musical meteor that came to raze
In the latest issue of the journal Mondosonoro - highly recommended, by the way - do an interview that all-powerful entity known as Jack White. In the course of the conversation that Jack has with the editor of MS, the former White Stripes confesses a fascination for a group of musicians stomp. They call Alabama Shakes, have joined since 2009 and weave a sound that is able to find the best of both soul and blues from the 60/70 and the old rock.
April 9 is the day that it goes on sale "Girls & Boys" alluring debut album set that leads the peculiar - but always majestic - Brittany Howard. For you to see them for what lies ahead (get ready because they sure ravage) here you have the official video clip of their new single 'Hold On'.The earth trembles! Alabama Shakes are already close, very close.

New songs from Kent, Saint Etienne, Katica and John Mouse - and a tip for all vinyl Friends
Yes, hard to believe aberdie Swedish band Kent returns with a new album and a new single called "999" - and a free B-side. Really hit me the new songs not from the stool, it seems as if its heyday finally over, but let's see maybe teach me Kent on the album even better.
Saint Etienne also have a new single out, the "Tonight" and is (as you might expect) offers melt-in electropop.
Oasis are also back again ... or wait, not quite - at least, one might get the impression that if the new single "Do not you think so?" the Sheffield band Kartica hear. Pretty BritPop!
I almost think I have the American musician John Mouse never mentioned in the blog, right? Then it is but once time! He is from Minnesota and occasionally makes some strange-sounding, reminiscent of Wave music - and to date he gives his new song "No title (Molly)."
Finally, I have a short note for all vinyl friends - asked Tobias Fuchs of the newly formed O-vinyl shop I fancy, to be launched with much idealism project to point - what I did with it:
In OhFancy vinyl record store your current releases found in the indie pop / rock / electronic field and designer toys from Kidrobot. Founded in July 2011, took the fancy vinyl shop OhFancy end of that year on his daily work. The primary goal: to make records again become popular. Our passion for music goes back many years, we know so much and looking out the panels with care. Hometown is the town of Traunstein beschauchliche near the Bavarian Alps.
Pick your favorite record from and independent of whether it indie rock / pop / electro, or something else is - enjoy the perfect online shopping experience. Fast Shipping (Monday-Friday will be shipped the next day, except for upfront) and a lack of minimum order are granted.

Listen to 'Live To Rise' entire Soundgarden
Last night 'Live To Rise' by Soundgarden was reproduced in full in Seattle station KISW, a fact that led to that already can hear the single through networks such as YouTube. We have already been able to give a couple of tracks and we believe that a hair clashes with that seen in the disks of Soundgarden. Yes, it is obvious that the trademark riff "Soundgarden" is there - and that "punch" has for a while - but there is probably some fans who expected something more visceral and more cutting sound paranoid. To me, personally, I was pleased enough. The chorus is engaged as a bad thing and the little one that sounds the end it seems insane.
Apart from 'Live To Rise', the soundtrack of "The Avengers" (The Avengers) will feature original songs from Kasabian, Rise Against, Bush, Black Veil Brides, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Evanescence and one of the artists of which more usually talk: Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots). The album will go on sale from May 1st so if you are interested in it know that through Amazon.com and you can make the request.

Quantic & Alice Russell with the Combo Barbaro
Sooner or later, all roads lead back together. Or so thought maybe Will Holland on further collaboration with the exception of singer Alice Russell, with whom he had already worked several times for his and their recordings. Rhythm & blues, soul and especially powerful, raw radio, the two designed together and obviously they can very well combined. Furthermore, the fans have long since decided. Whether the two paths should ever merge again was never clear, because there was Will Holland aka Quantic moved to Colombia.
Now it's time. "Look around the corner" is the reunion of the two artists. The album is musically and thematically coherent merging of different musical processes. Holland tinkering for some time by the mergers esque latin rhythms with jazz, funk and soul. He unscrewed the back of the programmed component, clubby beats and became more organic in its approach. Russell has three solo releases, ranging from classical to blues and jazz to soul to pop and world approaches ensured excited great enthusiasm. Now, have both taken in combination with Quantic's chapel in the new homeland Colombia (Combo Barbaro) is a much more will the boards, as that which have both been explored. Here the elements of folk, gospel and Latin Jazz is a further important extension to play the sound of Quantic. Specifically, the British music press about offers for weeks of superlatives when it comes to the description of the album - simply simply because here everyone really special to have designed completely unspectacular, almost conservative, earthy, - by simply live their passion for music. Infectious Mid-tempo pieces, powerful bluesy ballads and swinging, folk Latin grooves - this album is a great piece of art because it is wonderfully easy to poaching in his melodies and harmonies between Indian tradition and historical sound structures. Undogmatic, infectious and refreshing as a shower after a day in tropical South America. Quantic just can not fool no one!
