Eric Erlandson of Hole writing a book about the suicide of Kurt Cobain

We could imagine that someone like Courtney Love could write a book about the tragic death of Kurt Cobain. We even see somewhat likely (at least something) that one day Dave Grohl is released it. That's right: we did not imagine that any of the ways was that Eric Erlandson, former Hole guitarist, eventually writing a play about the suicide of Nirvana frontman.

Erlandson's book, to be entitled "Letters To Kurt" (Letters to Kurt) will be released on April 8 under Akashi Books. Talking to The New York Times the musician said this issue will consist of a mixture of poetry and prose that will serve as a reflection of rock and roll, drugs and the loss caused by the death of Cobain. "Writing a memoir was not right so I got the idea to do so a couple of years ago. I felt it was the best way of doing things and I was thrilled with the idea of carrying it out. "- Commented the American artist.

Although Courtney asked in October to return to Eric Hole, guitarist flatly declined the invitation. Apparently both musicians do not have a particularly good relationship and that is what has led Erlandson to focus more than one chapter of "Letters To Kurt" in the singer of the band angelina. Now I have to see both Courtney's reaction upon hearing the news of this release (not very positive) and the content of the book. Personally I do not read the ravings attracts much mental friend Melissa Auf Der Maur but surely the most ardent fans can not help Kurt get a copy of this controversial issue.
