The analog Saloon
The Zündfunk, the scene magazine on Bayern 2 makes, on Friday the 23th March 2012, two hours a show in which everything happens live - with music!
Here's the press release:
"Radio was in its early days, a pure live event: Not only were the presenters in real time at the microphone, the music was the moment in which it was sent from musicians recorded live in the studio. Even the commercials and announcements of speakers were sung live into the microphone.
The Zündfunk goes back to the days of "Radio Days" and that means: There is no pre-recorded text, cut, or give interviews produced contributions, no CDs or music files, no jingles from the can. Instead, the interview guests in the studio waiting to be used. The sound effects for documentaries to be backed by a live foley artist and the musicians are live in the studio and get started on command. An exciting challenge for everyone!
Included are: The Landlergschwister G.Rag & the Ladies Chapel, the hip-hop project "Double D" with rapper and human beat box, and the singer / songwriter Barbara and Phil Streidl cousin.
Chair: Caro Matzko and Ralf Summer
The program for reminiscence, pictures from the studio and "this and that" this extraordinary radio show are available at:

Blood Red Shoes in 2012: grand, ambitious, and (definitely) sweeping
The 2012 year will be very, very special for Blood Red Shoes. The British group soon released a third studio album - "In Time To Voices" - which has a devastating looks. And do not say it without knowledge of the facts, just wrote a review for Rockzone and the feeling was instantaneous. There's something about that record that makes him different than usual. Do you remember when Laura-Mary Carter said the LP was to be ambitious? For it is that and much more. There is only one truth behind it and that is the fact that the new British duo's sound has reached the status enough to start playing in stadiums.
The studio versions are far from those presented in a more intimate on BBC Radio 1. Even so frankly I thought it opportune Subirós two live versions of the single 'Cold' (already you could see a brilliant video recently) and 'In Time To Voices', blunt piece that opens the album and shows us once more sweeping pop spirit that remains within the youth of Brighton.
Iros preparing for Blood Red Shoes have returned to raze. And this time come armed to the teeth and eager to bruise, crack and cut off all that they were crossing the road.

Record of the Month: EEO - KID LIFE CRISIS
COLUMN: LEO'S BEAT BAR (March edition 2012)
"We are returning as' s caretaker Moonwalk" - after ten years of activity at the non-neglected side of the so-called scene have managed the two MCs / producers Crusoe & Snew their already fourth LP release called KID LIFE CRISIS finally, a somewhat larger audience to achieve. While this is probably the scene internal mini hype surrounding the (mixeryrawdeluxe) by Falk that title "New rhyme generation" due, on the other, surely the fact that these same troops to EEO, Cro, Rockstah and Ahzumjot with their sound definitely on the pulse are - at least for the part of Raphörer, which is a classic after 10 years Straßenrap dominance in some way on the bag.
KID LIFE CRISIS is not only entitled but also a thematic thread running through the entire LP: The rap either Kiel or Option hamburger without excessive flows, but with a healthy dose of sovereignty over the dreams and traumas of a generation that was anywhere in the world the student has lost life - the adopted child is not accepted in full, the adult lives of their staff a bit. As for the instrumental terms keep EEO is generally quite electronically - 8-bit sounds, as a tribute to their love of video games, crushing drums, melodic synths and in the right place also love to create a sample to an unexcited entertaining and well-mixed tapestry of sound, which one sounds, stuff like that, the two a la Neptunes and company pump. EEO What do you really have to, because like the whole plate is one piece and only the details vary. Biggest plus point for me is the fact that the two real Soundnerds and fit in places a little simplistic and sometimes borderline pathetic rape exactly on own productions, and thereby regain full rights - rather than total work of art Rapp latte.
Favorite song on the album is currently on any of the track "No favorite song" because it's the hip-hop ongoing issue "broke his" treats more interesting perspective: EEO before expected, why do they make any money with their music - that, however, virtually all others. Cool idea! As an example for the entire work is available both in terms of sound and thematically the carpet provided with a fancy video advance single "immernochso". Who found fallen on EEO finds on her website even more material, particularly its retrospective "WIRSIND10" can be strongly recommended to trace the path the two in their musical development are gone.

Sugar & The Hi Lows - Sugar & The Hi Lows (2012)
It is difficult to make a record that sounds fresh and contemporary, but so is the bow to the past make it seem real and not a mere copy of what has been seen 1010 times. The idea of getting styling is unique and vibrant is what has gotten Sugar & The Hi Lows (the duo of Trent Dabbs and Amy Stroup) with a debut album that melodically remembers perfectly the R & B that prevailed between the decade of the 50 and 60.
The nine issues of "Sugar & The Hi Lows" have a special magic. And the really funny thing is that retro style so distinctive and so soul is born from the hearts of two artists who have always seemed to be unequivocally linked to the current pop scene.Good campion was the Trent and
Amy we have stuck to that effect!. From the moment he starts to sound 'Show & Tell' the truth lies in that classic style which refers to large and Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Al Green and The Temptations, perhaps the most obvious reference this delightful album.
Many of the cuts have their reason for being. Even so there are two words that require a very, very special. The first of these is' Two Day High ', a little song under three minutes stretching the roots of rock n' roll classic fifties. Then there is the perhaps the best song of the compact. I speak of 'I've Got You Covered', an exquisite ballad soul / r & b that explodes in one of the most romantic refrains we heard in the past year.

Listen to the theme that Lykke Li recorded with the Swedish band Deportees
Blessed Twitter. It was through this network of communication that we have discovered an issue of the Swedish band Deportees in which the always fascinating Lykke Li has worked. The piece is titled 'A New Name To Go By' and is characterized by a sinuous melodic beauty and powerful set of voices that between Peder Stenberg and Li Lykke Zachrisson Timotej. You can enjoy the theme in this post. To hear you only have to play through the Soundcloud player who attached below.
Things have been pretty stop from the appearance on the David Letterman show he did in November 2011. Most remarkable has been the signing that made by Viva Model Management, a modeling agency that already has on staff the ever controversial Wool King. Perhaps all this tranquility is just a leisurely process that will help the Swedish start producing new material soon. At least we hope so, "Wounded Rhymes" is a proof in the form of LP used to demonstrate the great talent that lurks beneath that fragile and distinctive voice from the modest town of Ystad.

The rock also sound in the best roller coasters
Imagine this: you you climb the Dragon Khan theme park Port Aventura, just to start the ride, starts to sound a theme of Foo Fighters and Guns N 'Roses. What you seem to experience? Would you like, right? Well, apparently this new concept is not only a fictitious idea, but a stark reality. Everything is born from the minds of EMI, who have signed an agreement that will sound a theme of the band You Me At Six to get on The Swarm, a spectacular attraction park Thorpe Park (Surrey, UK) which has cost no more and no less than 20 million pounds.
The part of the creators of "Sinners Never Sleep" will be created exclusively for this attraction. In fact all those who rise to The Swarm will be given some kind of digital access so they can download free song You Me At Six.
Through this agreement EMI has opened a wide possibility to ring some songs from their grill other artists such as Kylie coaster Corkscrew or the Beatles Ticket To Ride. To begin the initiative seems quite funny but the thing is it as profitable as to be able to extrapolate the concept to theme parks in France, Sweden or Spain? We'll see, it all depends on how much the music of the band will hit Josh Franceschi users who choose to ride the monster The Swarm.

Band radar - Paper & Places
About the Brics we have already written. What do do with the Brics "Paper & Places"? Pretty much ... it is namely the same band that has changed for legal reasons and for reasons of caution, their band name.
Was next to the new band name is also equal to another new track called "To Berlin". Also, the guys recently at AdP Records.
The indie bloggers luck

Eric Erlandson of Hole writing a book about the suicide of Kurt Cobain
We could imagine that someone like Courtney Love could write a book about the tragic death of Kurt Cobain. We even see somewhat likely (at least something) that one day Dave Grohl is released it. That's right: we did not imagine that any of the ways was that Eric Erlandson, former Hole guitarist, eventually writing a play about the suicide of Nirvana frontman.
Erlandson's book, to be entitled "Letters To Kurt" (Letters to Kurt) will be released on April 8 under Akashi Books. Talking to The New York Times the musician said this issue will consist of a mixture of poetry and prose that will serve as a reflection of rock and roll, drugs and the loss caused by the death of Cobain. "Writing a memoir was not right so I got the idea to do so a couple of years ago. I felt it was the best way of doing things and I was thrilled with the idea of carrying it out. "- Commented the American artist.
Although Courtney asked in October to return to Eric Hole, guitarist flatly declined the invitation. Apparently both musicians do not have a particularly good relationship and that is what has led Erlandson to focus more than one chapter of "Letters To Kurt" in the singer of the band angelina. Now I have to see both Courtney's reaction upon hearing the news of this release (not very positive) and the content of the book. Personally I do not read the ravings attracts much mental friend Melissa Auf Der Maur but surely the most ardent fans can not help Kurt get a copy of this controversial issue.
